Get Pumped Heatpumps was started in 2016 by Dean Nolan.

 

Dean has more than 20 years in heat pump design, installation and maintenance. He does the site visit, the quote, the install and the service himself. A registered electrician is brought in for the electrical connection and Certificate of Compliance.

 

Dean is a trade-qualified refrigeration and air conditioning technician and is Site Safe. Installs follow NZ building standards.

 

Before coming home and starting Get Pumped, Dean worked in refrigeration and air conditioning across Australia — Hamilton Island, Hayman Island, Ayers Rock Resort, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sydney, Perth and Darwin — as well as the Turks and Caicos Islands and Nauru. He is an ex-NZ Army infantry soldier. He lives in the Hutt with his family and is the person who will be on your job.

 

Every job starts with a personal consultation and a written quote, so you know what is going in and what it will cost. He keeps the house tidy while he is there.

 

After the install he will walk you through the remote and Wi-Fi, and he is the same person you call for a service or a repair.

 

Get Pumped Heatpumps supplies and installs Mitsubishi Electric and Gree in Wainuiomata, Lower Hutt, Petone, Stokes Valley and Wellington jobs he can get to from the Hutt.

 

What you get on a job

A site visit from Dean, a written quote, supply and install of the indoor and outdoor units, pipework, electrician for the connection and CoC, commissioning, and a walk-through of the controls. No salesperson. No second installer turning up later.
